HEADACHE
A downloadable game
HEADACHE is a eyeburning, high-octane Hotline-Miami style FPS where you use anything and everything you can to brutalise everybody in the level as fast as possible. Blast, stomp, and smash your way through a office-disguised gang hideout to take down the leader. Stomp heads, crack skulls, and smash doors in a brilliant die-and-retry loop to rack up the highest combo, and the highest score possible.
CONTROLS:
WASD, MOUSE - Move, look around
M1 - Use weapon
M2 - Pick up/Throw weapon (based on whether you are holding a weapon already.
E - Kick
SPACE - Dash (you'll need it)
Note: This game is a demo/concept game. The challenges that go into creating a FPS Hotline Miami were ones I could not have foreseen. I may return to this in the future, but until I can figure out new concepts and ideas for it, it'll sit here. I loved this, hope more content comes. it has an unique and well art style. I would be like a special HOTLINE MIAMI DETAIL to leave the destiny of the guard on your hands and it will affect something on the future. Please keep following ur passion u have a great future
I love this game, its amazing, i completed all 3 levels and it felt really good, tho i found some bugs that for example there is an invisible wall in few spaces that your bullet wont pass, the other is that game lags incredibely bad when killing enemies. Thats it, have a great day!
I think its a bit too unforgiving because you die pretty quickly and you get sent back pretty far if you die. Also its kind of weird how enemies don't notice you after you shot their friend in the head right in front of them. Also it runs pretty poorly, when I shoot or kill an enemy it often freezes for a second. Its a cool game and I like it a lot but these things prevent me from having too much fun with it.
I've been told about the performance issues, I run like a supercomputer and don't tend to notice until the level end and I plan on redoing the project and fixing a lot of issues like this in the future. Thanks for the feedback!
pretty cool, tho whats holding it back is the guns (especially the uzis) not being accurate or having a hitsound/marker, which makes those guns less fun to use. enemies also are pretty quiet when they shoot, which elads to some very weird deaths. optimization needs some work, but aside from that this is a pretty cool game, i especially like the execution mechanic, which feels natural to do. very excited to see where this goes

only issue is that it would freeze every time i killed an enemy up close but we don't talk about that 🤫

if you're referring to the heads exploding, yes.
so it is locational damage to head or procedural
I love this game but for some reason I never heal when stomping heads? Is it a glitch or am I doing something wrong?
Actually the health limit was a last minute design choice. You aren't doing anything wrong!
first off, this game is badass and i honestly cant wait for more content from the game. i really love the speed and sort of run and gun aspect of the game, not even to mention the concept of it and i would absolutely love to see this blossom into a fully fleshed out game. keep up the good work, this is sick.

This game have a nice gameplay, kind of good hardcore and simple concept, i like it!
But it freezing for 0.3-0.5 seconds while i kill someone point-blank, i hope you try to optimize it.
